The past three weeks have been very cold here in Warsaw with up to -20 in the night and not warmer than -5 during the day. Today’s +3 felt like spring! I used the opportunity to take a short walk around the stable; Baja, one of the dogs, leaped around in the snow while I was taking a few shots. The snow, melting on the surface, looked like cake icing and it felt like walking on a huge white creme brulee.
Baja is happy to get out.
The summer pastures are all snowed in.
Stable Olender
I think she saw something!
A dike protects the stable from flooding. The Vistula river is just behind the trees at the horizon.
I guess it will take a while until I can train outside again…
Our little lake is all frozen. Baja loved to run across it.
